I make tables, benches and log storage boxes (for wood burners/ open fires) based on original Shaker shop drawings.

Large log storage boxes are 80cm long, 85 high, 43cm wide. They are made from plywood, the most suitable modern timber to use, with a painted finish. Cost: £120

¾ size boxes, if you have less space are £75.

Benches £120 or £75, depending on length, also with a painted finish.

Tables are £400, made from limed pine.

I take some commissions: prices will vary depending on whether you choose hard or softwood (hardwood is roughly three times the cost of softwood). As a rough rule of thumb I charge three times the cost of the materials for the finished article.

Swedish massage is a powerfully relaxing full-body massage which takes an hour. I work afternoons/ evenings Monday to Friday and take bookings for the last btwo weeks of each month. Your first massage will include a brief consultation to make sure there are no contra-indications to massage (recent surgery/ infectious disease/ first trimester of pregnancy for instance) and will cost £25. Thereafter I have a sliding scale of £20 (benefits) to £30 depending on your income: you pay what you feel you can afford. First massage is with gel, for returners I also offer aromatherapy oils.

Navigation for Women provides map reading and compass skills courses for women in the Peak District. We deliver nationally accredited courses through the National Navigation Award Scheme (NNAS) as well as courses tailored to your specific requirements.
