Wednesdays

6.30pm

SisterAct Sports starts again at the earlier time of 6.30 - 7.30pm on Wednesday 26 September at the old Sports Hall, Chesterton Sports Centre, Gilbert Road (in the grounds of Chesterton College).  All abilities welcome.  Indoor football, basketball, indoor hockey and other sports attempted on request.  Have fun, get some exercise, catch up on the gossip in the Fleur de Lys pub afterwards.  £3 for members/£4 for non-members.

 

Friday 7th

8.00pm

Pub Night – 8pm at the Green Dragon, Chesterton.  Everyone welcome, just turn up or contact us for more details.  Look forward to seeing you!

 

Friday 14th

7.30pm

Dinner with SisterAct - join us for a Chinese meal in Bedford, at the Chinese River St Restaurant.  Menu will have both meat and veggie options.

 

Sunday 16th

The 50s group - A successful group for those over the age of 50 (or thereabouts) meeting the third Sunday of every month at 2.30 pm. Based in the Hertfordshire area.

 

Sunday 23rd

Chariots of Fire Race - come and support the SisterAct teams as they run relays around the city centre.  Checkout more info at www.chariots-of-fire.co.uk  Please contact us if you would like to join in the fun or have lunch at Pizza Express with the runners afterwards.

Book Club - Held at an ever-so-cosy house in Cambridge. This month’s book is The Age of Innocence by Edith Wharton.  New readers are always welcome.

 

Saturday 29th

 

Mums and Kids gathering – Monthly child friendly event for mums, kids & potential mums to be. Please note - all events are non-smoking. 

 

Tuesday eve in September - date tbc!

 

Salsa Club - St Mary's in Bedford. Tapas and a one hour lesson for £17.50 followed by Salsa disco, open to all.  Lots of veggie tapas options available too.  If you don't fancy the lesson, you have the option of just coming along to the disco (free entry) and having a bit of a boogie!  The lesson covers basic steps and a few dances - fantastic fun and very informal.
