Wednesdays 6.30pm	SisterAct Sports - at the earlier time of 6.30 - 7.30pm at the old Sports Hall, Chesterton Sports Centre, Gilbert Road (in the grounds of Chesterton College). All abilities welcome. Indoor football, basketball, indoor hockey and other sports attempted on request. Have fun, get some exercise, catch up on the gossip in the Fleur de Lys pub afterwards. £3 for members/£4 for non-members.
Friday 12^th 7.30pm	Frantic Assembly - Britain's leading physical theatre company are coming to the Junction in Cambridge with "Stockholm - an extraordinary perspective on the nature of modern love". Book tickets at the Junction 01223 511511 for Friday 12^th October.
Saturday 13th 2.00pm	Wander in Wandlebury - meet in the car park at 2pm for a stroll through the autumn colours. Kids and dogs (latter on leads!) welcome. £2 car park charge and free spaces for bikes to park. Please let us know by Friday 12th October if you plan to go.
Thursday 18th 8.00pm	Diner's Delight - Join us for a superb meze meal at the award winning Mill Road Meze Bar. Exceptional food for a bargain £10. If we guarantee enough punters we take control of the entire restaurant. First come, first served, please let us know by Friday 12th October.
Sunday 21st 10.00am to 1.00pm	Green Gym Dig-a-thon - back by popular demand! Come and exercise for FREE in the fresh air, and help us remove some grass pathways on our allotment. Lunch provided afterwards. Email by Friday 19th, so that we know numbers for food. Bring a spade if you have one.
Sunday 21st 2.30pm	The 50s group - A successful group for those over the age of 50 (or thereabouts) meeting the third Sunday of every month at 2.30 pm. Based in the Hertfordshire area.
Wednesday 24th 8.00pm	Book Club - (Please note this is not the last Wednesday of the month!) Held in Cambridge. This month’s book is Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep by Philip K Dick. New readers are always welcome.
Sunday 28th	Mums and Kids gathering – Monthly child friendly event for mums, kids & potential mums to be. Please note - all events are non-smoking. Call beforehand to confirm date, time, place, directions etc,
Sunday 28th 11.00am	Sunday Walk - Join us for lunch at the Crown in Litlington (South West Cambs.) - handy for Hertfordshire ladeez - for a short, easy and beautiful walk followed by decent pub food. We'll be taking in Cheney Water, airfields and the Icknield Way before partaking in Speckled Hen. Let us know if you fancy joining in the action by Monday 22nd October.
