We provide a lively monthly newsletter and hold regular events, including:- Weekly sport - join us outside on Jesus Green throughout the summer & indoors at a local sports centre during winter months, followed by drinks in a local hostelry. Mums and Kids group - a variety of monthly events from playground visits to walks and tea parties. Loose Tongues - Sister Act's discussion group invite you to an evening of lively debate. Summer BBQ’s. Book club, join us at a Cambridge coffee house to discuss the latest book. Loose women – a chance for single women to get together for social occasions and to 'get out there'. New Members Evenings - meet other SisterActers in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Over 50’s group - a NEW and successful group for those over the age of 50 (or thereabouts). Based in Hertfordshire. Diners’ delight - join us at a regular restaurant visit for the ultimate gastric experience. ..... plus a host of other visits, trips and outings including walks, theatre, comedy club, cinema, pubs, jazz nights, clubs, 10 pin bowling. Sister Act began in 1993 with a small circle of friends and now has almost 200 members throughout the East Anglian Region, from Chelmsford to Ely, Norwich to Hertford. However the majority of our members are in and around the Cambridge area. We are a voluntary group run by the members for the members.
